On December 14th 2023, a new Master of Science joins the scientific community, Vincent Kendlbacher. He brilliantly described the new to science ciliate species Zoothamnium mariella, which is in symbiosis with the gammaproteobacteria Candidatus Fusimicrobium zoothamnicola.
