Not everybody can do everything – Training in the Lab

A lot of different methods are involved in our research. Lab training was done in Vienna, so that everybody will be able to do the tasks for their part of the research. Some had to learn how to assembly the pressure vessels and how to use them, others received training for the microscopes and learned how to take nice pictures. Another group was trained in several filtration methods for viruses and bacteria. For some people that just meant to go from their office to the lab, but for others in meant to travel from one part of Europe to another.
